As a result of the Canterbury earthquakes, Ansvar Insurance Limited is ceasing to provide insurance cover in New Zealand and will undertake a managed exit from the market. All Ansvar policies will be cancelled with effect from 31st December 2011.
ACM Ahlers clients that are insured with Ansvar, have
already been contacted, or will be, in the near future and advised
that replacing cover is being arranged for them.
Ansvar Insurance Ltd has a financial rating from Standard
and Poor's of B++. ACM Ahlers has no reason to believe that all
legitimate claims will not be honoured in full to the extent of the
policy coverage provided.
